Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a minimum of 5 years of progressive, successful experience, to manage, and maintain the Corporate Accounting Section activities and prepare relevant financial reports in order to control Company financial resources and ensure compliance with accounting standards and Company policies & procedures.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Review general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Check, on a monthly basis, tie-up of all subsidiary ledger totals against related general ledger balances and handle discrepancies and problems.
Review monthly bank reconciliation statements of all regions and Head Office.
Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process.
Review cash and bank disbursements and check the vouchers to ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
Review monthly and year-end closing reports (i.e., trial balance, general ledger, various subsidiary ledgers, etc.) to assess significant changes or movements of GL accounts.
Supervise the preparation of monthly management reports which include cash flow statements, collection reports, sales, cost & expenses, and contract secured during the month.
Prepare the annual company’s budget (P & L). Manage the preparation of business plan reports.
Supervise the preparation of internal financial reports for submission to the department manager.
Coordinate with banks relationship managers on bank matters/issues.
Coordinate with all concerned departments during the preparation of annual budgets and midyear review to gather data
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the preparation of required schedules for audit of company accounts.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of direct reports
Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field preferably certified as CPA, CA, CMA.
Total 5 years of experience in accounting role.
Applicants must possess strong systems skills, solid analytical skills, effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be computer literate with good understanding of MS Office, SAP, and other accounting ERP.
